Check the Electrical Connection, Verify AC connections

An AC connection check confirms that each AC cable is fully seated and correctly torqued in its inverter terminal. Do this check when an inverter is waiting for grid voltage or shows a grid failure message, because a badly connected AC cable can cause that message. First switch off the DC and AC disconnects and lock out every source. Then use a multimeter to confirm there is no AC voltage between any pair of phases. Give each AC cable a light tug, look for loose strands outside the terminal, and check the terminal screw torque against the manual's specification. Tighten any loose terminals to the specified torque, and repair or replace cables whose jacket is damaged. As routine maintenance, check the connections every 6 months, or up to once a year, depending on how much the temperature changes at the site. O&M guidelines list checking cable terminals and their tightness as a yearly minimum task. This check will not clear a grid failure message caused by a wrongly configured country data set. Check that setting separately.
