The Huawei SUN2000 KTL-US family consists of three-phase, grid-tied PV string inverters that turn DC power from PV strings into AC power for the grid. The family is meant for commercial rooftops and large plants, and is used with AC distribution units and isolation or step-up transformers. The 25KTL and 30KTL models are rated at 25 kW and 30 kW. They accept up to 1,000 V DC, track between 250 and 950 V DC, and take up to six strings, two per MPPT. In operation the inverter tracks the maximum power point. It also supports PV string fault detection. The inverters carry FCC Part 15B, FCC Part 15G and CSA compliance marks. If a string is connected with reversed polarity, wait until the string current drops below 0.5 A before you turn off the DC switches and fix the wiring.
