Enphase Energy

Enphase Energy is a manufacturer of residential and commercial solar and storage equipment, which it sells together as the Enphase Energy System. Its third-generation storage products are the IQ Battery 5P, the IQ Combiner 5 and 5C, the IQ System Controller 3 and 3G, and the meters that go with them. Enphase warns installers not to mix 1st and 2nd Generation storage products with 3rd Generation ones, and not to combine non-Enphase storage with Enphase storage. The Envoy-S gateway connects the system to the Enlighten web-based monitoring software. With Enphase devices it can control grid management functions; with other PV systems it only collects production and consumption data. Technicians commission commercial systems with the Enphase Installer App, and owners view their system in the Enphase App. Many of its installation, commissioning and troubleshooting documents are written for North America.
