Enphase App

The Enphase App is Enphase's monitoring app for system owners. It was previously called the Enlighten App. Enlighten is Enphase's web-based software for monitoring and analysis. The gateway (Envoy or Envoy-S) gathers production and performance data from the microinverters over the site AC power lines and sends it to Enlighten over an internet or cellular connection. Owners use the same Enphase App for both commercial and home Enphase Energy Systems, and an owner with several systems can see all of them from one login. The app has generator modes for systems with IQ Battery and IQ8 Series equipment. The Wi-Fi connection of an IQ Gateway can be set up from the Enphase App or the Enphase Installer App. Recent gateway software releases improved the error messages and accept more characters in Wi-Fi credentials. Onsite setup and commissioning are done in the separate Enphase Installer App, formerly the Installer Toolkit. Fleet management is done in the Enphase Installer Portal, formerly Enlighten Manager.

<!-- review notes

• sentence 1: support check: partial - Rename from Enlighten App is stated, but passages don't describe it as a monitoring app for system owners beyond u17's implication that owners use it to monitor systems.
• sentence 4: support check: partial - Generator modes exist in the Enphase App and the article is tagged with IQ Battery and IQ8 Series, but the passages don't say the modes are for systems with that equipment.
• sentence 5: support check: partial - Improved error messages and expanded characters are stated for Wi-Fi configuration via both apps, but passages don't explicitly say the IQ Gateway's Wi-Fi is set up from them, and the 'recent releases' framing is implied.
• sentence 6: support check: partial - Renames are stated and the Installer App is used for commissioning, but the passages don't say Fleet management is done in the Installer Portal (only the Enlighten Manager rename and its managing multiple systems in u28, which isn't cited here).
• sentence 4: review: partial - The passages confirm the Enphase App has generator modes, but the link to IQ Battery and IQ8 Series systems comes only from the article's model tags, not from any stated text. -->
