Installer

The installer is the solar professional who installs devices and configures the system, ideally during commissioning, and then gives the end customer their own user login. SMA says its devices, including the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, must be installed by solar power professionals, and owners should go to their installer to have a defective unit replaced. To configure forecast-based battery charging in Sunny Portal you must log in as an installer, so owners who want it after commissioning have to contact their installer.
