Filter board replacement
Before you replace anything, restart the inverter by turning both the AC and DC switches off and back on. Wait 1 minute between off and on so all stored energy can discharge. If the restart does not clear the fault, replace either the filter board or the whole inverter. For the XGI 1500, Yaskawa publishes customer-facing instructions for replacing the midpoint filter board. To remove the board, take off the three connections on its left side and the M5 SEMS nut with an 8 mm socket. Then remove the four mounting screws, slide the board out, and remove the M5 screw on the right side to free the attached wire. The sources do not report how effective this replacement is. Replacing the whole inverter is the alternative listed for the same fault.
<!-- review notes
- sentence 5: support check: partial - The passage lists replacing the inverter as an alternative for this fault, but the claim about sources not reporting effectiveness is an absence claim the passages neither state nor contradict. -->
