KACO new energy
KACO new energy GmbH is an inverter manufacturer and owns the operating manual for its blueplanet TL3 series of three-phase PV inverters. The blueplanet TL3 family covers the 87.0, 92.0, 105, 110, 125, 137, 150, 155 and 165 TL3 models, and the manual is an English translation of a German original written for authorised electricians. Each model ships in variants with their own KACO article numbers, such as the M1 WM OD designations listed on the nameplate. KACO states that the product certificates are only valid when the matching country setting is selected, and that grid parameters must be set to the grid operator's requirements. KACO permits parameter configuration to IEEE 1547:2003 table 1 only when the grid operator asks for it. For integrators, KACO provides application notes on the Modbus and RS485 protocols and on reactive power control, along with a SunSpec Information Model reference, software packages, an EU Declaration of Conformity and country-specific certificates. On larger plants, KACO devices are reached over Ethernet through Segment Controllers, and a central Plant Controller monitors those Segment Controllers.
