ABB Ltd
ABB is a manufacturer that publishes product manuals for its solar inverters under the name ABB solar inverters. For export limitation, ABB energy meters such as the B24, A44, M4M 20, M4M 30 and M2M Ethernet models work with the inverters over RS-485 or Ethernet. You set up the Ethernet connection on an M4M meter from its display menus (Configuration, Communication, Modbus, TCP/IP) or through the meter's built-in web server. ABB and Tigo tested the UNO-DM-PLUS inverters with Tigo TS4-R optimizers to meet NEC 2017 rapid shutdown, and ABB's inverter warranty still applies when they are used together. ABB does not take responsibility for EMC compliance of the whole system or for its total energy yield when Tigo devices are used. ABB also makes the DC switching units installed in SMA Sunny Central HE-11 central inverters, and SMA sets its own maintenance interval of 24 months for that switchgear. ABB lists www.abb.com/solarinverters as the place to find more about its solar products and services.
