Torque wrench
A torque wrench tightens bolts, screws and terminals to a set torque. Inverter manuals list it among the tools needed for installation. Huawei string inverter manuals use it to secure bolts and AC output terminals, and also to tighten expansion bolts. On some Huawei units the AC output terminals call for a torque socket wrench with a 10 mm socket, a 0-8 N·m range and a short handle, so it fits between the terminals and the cabinet frame. A socket wrench set can be fitted to the torque wrench to drive bolts and terminals. Yaskawa Solectria instructions use a torque driver to bring terminals to their specified torque. They also give the capacity each job needs, such as a torque wrench capable of 5 in-lbs or 26 in-lbs. For the SolarEdge Home Hub inverter, you need a torque wrench with a 4 mm Allen bit and an open-end 10 mm torque wrench. Check that your torque wrench covers the torque the manual gives for each terminal or bolt, because the required values differ between products and connection points.
<!-- review notes
- sentence 1: support check: partial - Passages list torque wrenches as tools for securing bolts, terminals and bolts, but "set torque" definition is not stated and the 'inverter manuals list it' is only loosely shown.
- sentence 3: support check: partial - Passage gives 10 mm diagonal, 0-8 N·m, handle <200 mm and fit between terminals and cabinet frame (socket height), but 'some Huawei units' isn't named and the short handle isn't tied to fit.
- sentence 4: support check: partial - Passage says the socket wrench set works with a torque wrench to secure bolts and AC output terminals; 'fitted to' is a paraphrase, acceptable but slightly stronger.
- sentence 5: support check: partial - Torque driver for terminals and wrench capacities of 5 and 26 in-lbs are stated, but a manual naming Yaskawa Solectria is not in the passages.
- sentence 6: support check: partial - The tool list matches, but the passage refers to the SolarEdge Home Battery 400V, not the Home Hub inverter.
- sentence 7: support check: partial - Passages show differing torque values and capacities by product and connection point, but do not explicitly advise checking the wrench covers each value.
- sentence 1: review: partial - The tool tables do list a torque wrench for securing bolts and AC terminals and for tightening expansion bolts, but the passages never mention screws or tightening to a set torque. -->
