Backup outlet short circuit
The inverter has found a short circuit at the outlet used for manual secure power supply (SPS) operation, and it logs event 9203. Depending on the model, the event text reads either short circuit in backup operation or short circuit in the SPS power outlet. The event can also come from an overload rather than a true short: the starting load was too high, or the appliance drew more than the permitted SPS load current for longer than 5 s. First check that the outlet is wired correctly and that the connected appliance works properly. Next, unplug the appliance and switch SPS operation on again. If the outlet now works, the appliance or the load was the cause. If the load is the problem, reduce the load on the SPS terminal or use an appliance with a lower starting current.
<!-- review notes
- sentence 2: support check: partial - Both texts appear for 9203, but the passages don't say the wording depends on the model.
- sentence 4: support check: partial - Both checks are listed as corrective measures, but the passages don't say they come first.
- sentence 5: support check: partial - Unplugging the load and switching on SPS is stated, but the conclusion that a working outlet means the appliance was the cause is not. -->
