System owner
In SolisCloud the owner can view and edit their plant, and each plant has only one owner. To add an owner, the organization account enters the owner's email address. A registered owner is then linked to the plant. An unregistered owner gets a new account through Sign Up&Link and receives an activation email. In the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform a system owner is a standalone user who never belongs to a company account. They see only their own sites and have no admin capabilities. To change the SolisCloud owner, for example after a property sale, the request is fastest when it comes from the email address listed as the current owner. Otherwise Solis needs proof of ownership or a written authorization from the current owner. Installers can help with an ownership change but cannot make it on their own. Submit owner change requests as a ticket in the Solis Online Portal or by email to the local After Sales team. Include inverter serial numbers and a screenshot of the plant if possible. During commissioning the owner may witness tests, and tests the owner or commissioning authority did not witness can be rejected. The owner must be told about any deficiencies still open.
<!-- review notes
- sentence 5: support check: partial - Passage says installers can assist and changes require owner email confirmation or proof of ownership, which implies they cannot do it alone, but 'cannot make it on their own' is not stated explicitly. -->
