Field service technician

For Tesla Megapack, a field service technician is either a Tesla employee or a contractor Tesla has approved, trained to commission and service Megapack systems. Anyone else should enter Access Level C only when SEL directs it. The CAL command is entered at the Access Level 2 prompt, and SEL supplies the list of CAL commands on request. On Fronius Symo inverters, Class 4 status codes may need a trained Fronius service technician, so contact one if the code persists. Powin's dispatch process sends field technicians from Approved Service Providers as well as Powin's own technicians and field engineers. Its goal is clear communication, a defined scope of work and compliance with safety procedures. On Powin's permit for energized work, field technicians sign alongside the electrically knowledgeable lead person and the people responsible for field service and the authorized service provider. For Powin Centipede field service, arc-rated PPE is required inside the restricted approach boundary. General PPE is enough for tasks such as opening string doors or toggling collection segment breakers.
