CENELEC
CENELEC, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, is a standards body based in Brussels, Belgium. It publishes EN 50110-1, which sets general requirements for operating electrical installations safely. It also issues a two-part standard on generating plants that run in parallel with distribution networks. Part 1 covers connection to a low-voltage network and Part 2 covers connection to a medium-voltage network, both for plants up to and including Type B. The IEA PVPS guidelines on operating and maintaining PV power plants list these CENELEC documents among their references.
